Q: How long in advance do I have to place an order?

A: At least 3 days in advance for basic cakes and 1 week in advance for customised orders.

Q: Where do I place an order?

A: You can place an order online via our website or submit an enquiry to our email heidi@cakerholic.com. Please give us 48 hours to reply your enquiry. For urgent orders within a week, you can drop us a Whatsapp message at 96520810.

To allow for fast process of your order, please let us know the following:

- Date of Cake Collection

- Desired Cake Design

- Number of pax to feed

Q: Do you provide delivery?

A: Yes, we engage a third party courier service. However, we highly encourage self-collection at our studio at Katong Point. You are also allowed to arrange for your own courier.

Q: Are your cakes made daily?

A: We bake cakes a day before/ on the day itself. However, if our week is packed, our cakes will be baked in advance but kept in the freezer to ensure freshness. However, ALL cakes are frosted and prepared only within 2 days prior to date of collection. We are very committed to ensuring our cakes stay fresh and are in its best condition when they reach your hands. 

Q: How long can cakes be left out of the fridge?

A: As Singapore is very humid, we don't recommend cakes to be left at outside temperature for longer than an hour, especially for perishable fillings. They can be kept in air-conditioned room for 3 hours without melting. Should you place them in the fridge, be sure to take them out 30 minutes before consumption so you enjoy it in its best state. 

Q: Are your cakes too sweet?

A: ALL of Cakerholic cakes are known to be less sweet compared to most cakeries out there. They are lower in oil & sugar. Hence, if they are not kept in airtight containers once cut, they tend to dry out faster. Our recommendation is to finish up the cakes when you cut into them! 

Q: What buttercream do you use?

A: We use Swiss Meringue Butter which consists of egg whites and sugar. This allows our buttercream to stay good in Singapore's humidity and are also tasty and not too sweet.

Q: Are your cakes vegetarian or vegan?

A: Unfortunately, we don't have vegan or vegetarian cakes on our menu yet. 

Q: Do I put a deposit to confirm my order?

A: All orders below $500 are to be paid full. Otherwise, a 50% deposit has to be made to confirm an order. Once deposit is placed, no cancellation is allowed. However, a switch of date can be excused should we be informed at least 3 days prior to supposed collection date.
